Stress, tension and anxiety disorders
in traditional Tibetan Medicine

Prof. Pasang Y. Arya

Stress, strain, tension and anxiety disorder is a worldwide spread disorder that in many cases leads to psychosomatic problems. Tibetan traditional medicine believes that psychological disharmony, stress, impatience, burnout, lack of resistance to the difficulties, etc can result in rlung-ned, “wind disorder”. Beside the cause described above, much anxiety and fear etc are sometimes induced by a wrong diet and a behavior contrary to one’s constitution.

Prof Pasang Y. Arya will present the Tibetan traditional medicine concept on these problems, their diagnosis and the way to restore the health through the nutrition, Tibetan healing yoga, meditation, behavior and various supporting therapies.
