Obituary announcement

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of
Mrs. Corinne Colette who left us this springtime. She was born in 1946, in Detroit, U.S.A. and was one of the active founding members of the New Yuthok Institute for Tibetan Medicine.
For many years she was the translator of our director and teacher Prof. Pasang Yonten Arya for Tibetan medicine, astrology and Tibetan medical psychology courses, seminars and congresses.
She had a kind nature, great sensibility and willingness. She was tireless in her tasks, and very devoted to the Institute’s works. She especially made great contribution to the development of Tibetan medicine in the west, and was also a very good friend of Tibetan people.

We are profoundly afflicted by her unexpected death. We greatly miss her, her friendship and especially warm heart.

We all members of the Institute pray to Buddha that her departed soul may achieve a peaceful journey and take rebirth again as a noble life.

“As the relatives and friends welcome with great delight
Whom who comes back home from a distant land,
So will be received by own good deeds whom who did,
When he will pass from this life to the next existence”. (Dhammapada 219-220)
