Information
Tibetan Medicine is a whole subtle and profound healing system that requires years of full-time studies and training to be properly understood in its depths and to become a fully qualified practitioner. The purpose of this course is then not to train professionals in the field of Tibetan Medicine, but rather to provide a reliable knowledge on the body/mind, the concept of diseases and their treatments and diagnosis method, as well as on spiritual healing, and wisdom according to Tibetan Medicine.

Certification
In Italy, like in other European countries, Tibetan Medicine is not yet an officially recognized medicine. It is however (in Italy) on the list of the alternative or complementary medical disciplines.

At the end of the four-year Tibetan Medicine course, the participants who have successfully passed all the exams will receive a certificate on Tibetan naturopathy, from the New Yuthok Institute.

• The participants who are already medical doctors or certified naturopath practitioners can receive the certificate as an attestation for their additional knowledge related to Tibetan naturopathy, spiritual and body/mind healings.

• The participants who have not yet graduated in any medical complementary discipline will also receive the same certificate from the New Yuthok Institute, but to be legally recognized as a fully certified naturopathy practitionner, they should obtain an extra certificate on western medical anatomy, physiology and pathology from the Italian holistic Institute of Padova or from the BCMA (British Complementary Medical Association), London. To do so, they will then have to take (and pay) additional western medical anatomy, physiology and pathology courses, and exams.
